Paul J. Devitt

General Manager

Paul started working as a bar back/bartender/server while in college. After graduating from Western Michigan University, he moved to Chicago where he was lucky enough to get a job working at Chef David Burke’s Park Avenue Café’s sister restaurant, Mrs. Parks Tavern, a member of the prestigious New York Restaurant Group. He was promoted to manager and stayed with them for 5 years. He then went to work for the Kimpton Group’s three (at the time) different Chicago locations, 312Chicago, The South Water Kitchen and the Atwood Café, as manager/Beverage manager/AGM. After 10 years, he was recruited by Dallas’s Consolidated Restaurants Operation to help open their first Chicago venture, Cantina Laredo, where he served as Beverage Manager and then General Manager for 8 years.

Paul joined the team at fourteensixteen in August of 2019.
